It didn’t surprise me. I lived in the United Kingdom for eight years and was often baffled by the power of the press. It is truly scary how they build someone up to incredible heights only to knock them down in the most distasteful way possible. They seem to be a law unto themselves with unlimited power to interfere in people’s lives.
