I then like to engage in some meditation and withdraw from the maddening world outside. I find inspiration in yoga and zen Buddhism and try to reach a more blissful state of mind by concentrating on a mantra or meaningful word.

Social networking

I have recently given in to the Facebook thing. Friends of mine urged me to join and in the end I relented. Rainy day

Rain, rain go away. In fact I don’t mind the rain here in Sydney. As I write these admiring lines there is a bit of a downpour crashing along my window panes. Spider

I've never been a big fan of spiders. There, I've said it. I just think there is something creepy and darkly Gothic about them. The way they look, the way they move and let's not forget how gross the way in which they consume their prey is, really. Isn't nature wonderful? Last night, I was lying in bed, watching the telly when all of a sudden a spider dropped down from the ceiling on its string a bit like Tom Cruise in that scene in Mission Impossible, and landed on my bed covers, bold as brass. I admired its cheek but only after I'd swept it off the bed with a flick of the wrist. Creep.

Listless

Feeling a bit moody today, I'm afraid to say, dear readers. Not today the happy go lucky cheerful cheeky fellow you've come to know.
